There will be a meeting to confirm the space we are going to use for the garden at Banister House, so I’ve done a few sketches of how the space could be laid out to start the conversation. I warn you now I am not a garden designer and these are the first sketches, I am pretty sure that some areas are not to scale…

Just thought I’d show a few pick of the beans now they are out making the garden look green. They are grown from last years beans that spent the winter in the snow and cold. Hope this makes them hardier. they had an aphid problem last time… any suggestions as to how to get ride of them (or make the most of them) are welcome.

Just popping up to say hello to spring

Just popping up to say hello to spring

So its back in the garden with a spring clean. The daffodils are out and about and the rhubarb has just raised its sleepy head. We cleared the garden and let some light in.  Last weeks adventures in gardening just down the road have got me feeling green fingered and excited at the thought of spring.
